Banking Customer Service Representative

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00/hour

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

Seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to provide exceptional support to members via phone, email and in person. We are looking for professionals with prior banking, credit union, loan processing, teller, or financial services experience who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • Must be available to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
  • Occasional Saturday shifts as needed

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls and email inquiries from existing members
  • Assist customers with account-related questions and service requests
  • Support online and mobile banking inquiries
  • Provide information on banking products, services, and account features
  • Research and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining accuracy and compliance
  • Document customer interactions and follow company procedures
  • Identify opportunities to educate members on products and services that meet their needs

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a bank, credit union, mortgage company, or financial institution
  • Previous experience as a Teller, Banking Clerk, Loan Processor, Member Service Representative, Personal Banker, or similar role
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and navigate multiple computer systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to providing exceptional member experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Credit union or banking experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
